Custom Stickers With Your Logo: The Complete Guide for Businesses
Custom logo stickers are one of the most cost-effective branding tools available. Here is everything you need to know about materials, shapes, applications and ordering.

Logo stickers are something most businesses need, but few think strategically about. A good sticker can sit on a laptop, water bottle or company vehicle for years, giving your brand daily exposure. A poor sticker fades, curls and sends the wrong message.
In this guide, we cover everything you need to know to order stickers that actually work.
What materials are available?
The material is the most important choice. It determines durability, appearance and price.
Vinyl
Vinyl is the standard choice for most business stickers. It is waterproof, UV-resistant and lasts 5-7 years outdoors with UV laminate. Vinyl withstands rain, sun and cold without fading.
Applications: company vehicles, outdoor equipment, helmets, tools, water bottles, laptops.
Paper
Paper is more affordable and suitable for indoor use. It gives a matte, natural look that works well for product labels and packaging. Lasts 1-2 years indoors.
Applications: product labelling, packaging, labels for jars and bottles, indoor campaigns.
Polyester
Polyester is a mid-range option: more durable than paper, but more affordable than premium vinyl. Withstands moisture and moderate wear. Lasts 3-5 years.
Applications: machine labelling, industrial labels, warehouse labels.
Specialty materials
For stickers that need to stand out, there is holographic film, fluorescent colours, reflective surfaces and transparent vinyl. These cost more but create a unique look that captures attention.
Shapes and die-cutting
The shape affects both appearance and price.
Rectangle and circle are standard shapes and the most affordable to produce. Suitable for most purposes.
Contour-cut (die-cut) follows the contour of your logo or design. This gives a cleaner, more professional appearance. Costs approximately 15% more than standard shapes, but it is worth it for logo stickers that represent your brand.
Fully custom shapes with special cut-outs or multi-layer builds are possible for larger orders.
Finish: matte, gloss or soft-touch?
- Gloss gives vivid colours and a shiny appearance. Most common for logo stickers.
- Matte gives a subdued, modern expression. Popular for premium brands and product labels.
- Soft-touch has a velvety surface that feels exclusive. Used for high-end products and gift items.
Applications for businesses
Branding and giveaways
Logo stickers are something people voluntarily choose to use. When a customer sticks your logo on their laptop, they become a brand ambassador. Include stickers in product packages, hand them out at trade shows and events, or use them as part of promotional product campaigns.
Product labelling and packaging
Labels with product information, ingredient lists, barcodes and QR codes. For food products, there are regulatory requirements for content labelling that we can help you meet.
Vehicles and equipment
Logo decals on company vehicles, construction machinery and work equipment provide mobile exposure. For full vehicle wrapping, see our vehicle wrapping service.
Safety and HSE
HSE labelling, hazard symbols, machine signs and safety instructions are required by law in many industries. We produce durable safety stickers that withstand industrial conditions.
Windows and shop fronts
Window stickers with campaigns, opening hours and decor are an effective way to attract passers-by. Frosted window film provides privacy and a stylish appearance.
How much do logo stickers cost?
The price depends on size, material and quantity. The more you order, the lower the unit price.
Some examples for standard vinyl stickers:
- 5 x 5 cm, 500 pcs: from approx. NOK 1,875 ex. VAT (NOK 3.75/pc)
- 10 x 10 cm, 500 pcs: from approx. NOK 3,375 ex. VAT (NOK 6.75/pc)
- 10 x 10 cm, 1,000 pcs: from approx. NOK 6,000 ex. VAT (NOK 6.00/pc)
Contour cutting adds approximately 15%. Volume discounts start from 10% on larger orders. Use our price calculator for an exact price.
Tips for a good result
- Supply vector files: Logos in AI, EPS or SVG format give the sharpest print. Avoid low-resolution JPG and PNG.
- Consider the background colour: A white sticker on a white laptop disappears. Consider a coloured background or transparent vinyl.
- Choose the right size: For laptops, 7-10 cm is common. For water bottles, 5-7 cm. For company vehicles, 20-50 cm.
- Order multiple variants: Different sizes and shapes give flexibility. Many customers order a mix of round and contour-cut.
- Think durability: For outdoor use, always choose vinyl with UV laminate. That is not where to cut corners.
