Vinyl

Vinyl is the standard choice for most business stickers. It is waterproof, UV-resistant and lasts 5-7 years outdoors with UV laminate. Vinyl withstands rain, sun and cold without fading.

Paper

Paper is more affordable and suitable for indoor use. It gives a matte, natural look that works well for product labels and packaging. Lasts 1-2 years indoors.

Polyester

Polyester is a mid-range option: more durable than paper, but more affordable than premium vinyl. Withstands moisture and moderate wear. Lasts 3-5 years.

For stickers that need to stand out, there is holographic film, fluorescent colours, reflective surfaces and transparent vinyl. These cost more but create a unique look that captures attention.

Shapes and die-cutting

The shape affects both appearance and price.

Rectangle and circle are standard shapes and the most affordable to produce. Suitable for most purposes.

Contour-cut (die-cut) follows the contour of your logo or design. This gives a cleaner, more professional appearance. Costs approximately 15% more than standard shapes, but it is worth it for logo stickers that represent your brand.

Fully custom shapes with special cut-outs or multi-layer builds are possible for larger orders.

Finish: matte, gloss or soft-touch?

  • Gloss gives vivid colours and a shiny appearance. Most common for logo stickers.
  • Matte gives a subdued, modern expression. Popular for premium brands and product labels.
  • Soft-touch has a velvety surface that feels exclusive. Used for high-end products and gift items.

Tips for a good result

  1. Supply vector files: Logos in AI, EPS or SVG format give the sharpest print. Avoid low-resolution JPG and PNG.
  2. Consider the background colour: A white sticker on a white laptop disappears. Consider a coloured background or transparent vinyl.
  3. Choose the right size: For laptops, 7-10 cm is common. For water bottles, 5-7 cm. For company vehicles, 20-50 cm.
  4. Order multiple variants: Different sizes and shapes give flexibility. Many customers order a mix of round and contour-cut.
  5. Think durability: For outdoor use, always choose vinyl with UV laminate. That is not where to cut corners.
