Tveit AS: complete signage plan for a new boat centre at Forus

Tveit’s new boat centre at Forus with front-lit LED signs on several façades

Challenge

For the opening of its new boat centre, Tveit needed a coordinated signage solution that made the building easy to recognise from every surrounding road while keeping the main entrance clear and welcoming.

Solution

Show Off handled the site survey, measurements, design adaptation, municipal sign application, production and installation. The delivery included six front-lit LED signs for Tveit and Yamaha, a pylon measuring approximately 2 × 5 metres and entrance branding.

Result

The full signage delivery was completed in time for the 2018 opening. Tveit gained a strongly branded building with clear visibility from several sides and an entrance that was easy to find. The client was very pleased with the result.

The assignment

Tveit AS was preparing to open a new boat centre at Forus in 2018. The company wanted a building that was easy to recognise and clearly visible from all surrounding roads. Visitors also needed to understand immediately where the main entrance was located.

The challenge

The new building could be seen from several sides and driving directions. The signage therefore had to work as one coordinated system rather than as a group of individual signs placed wherever space was available.

The goals were to:

  • make Tveit visible from every relevant side of the building
  • give both Tveit and Yamaha a clear presence on the façades
  • create a well-branded and welcoming boat centre
  • make the main entrance easy to find

The solution

Show Off followed the project from planning through final installation. We carried out the site survey and measurements, adapted the design and sizes to the building, and handled the municipal sign application.

The complete delivery included:

  • six front-lit LED signs for Tveit and Yamaha
  • signage on several sides for visibility from different driving directions
  • a freestanding pylon approximately 2 metres wide and 5 metres high
  • foundations and installation for the pylon
  • branded entrance doors
  • a red carpet that made the entrance clear and welcoming

The project proceeded without any special problems.

The result

The full signage package was in place for the opening. Tveit gained a clearly branded building with strong visibility from the roads around the boat centre, and an entrance that was easy for customers to find.

Tveit was very pleased with the completed result.

Why this project matters

The project shows the value of planning façade signs, a pylon, partner brands and entrance branding as one complete delivery. When placement, scale, lighting and visitor movement are considered early, the result becomes both more visible and more coherent.
