Show Off handled the municipal sign application, technical calculations, engineering, production and project management. Three front-lit signs were produced as individual aluminium and acrylic letters on U-shaped profiles, then lifted into place by crane truck and installed from access lifts.
Tveit AS
Show Off handled the site survey, measurements, design adaptation, municipal sign application, production and installation. The delivery included six front-lit LED signs for Tveit and Yamaha, a pylon measuring approximately 2 × 5 metres and entrance branding.

From simple facade signs to advanced LED installations: our own team of sign designers and installers handles the entire process in-house, giving you a single point of contact and full quality control.
What is a facade sign?
A facade sign is a sign mounted on a building's exterior wall to identify the business. Facade signs come in several main types, and the right choice depends on facade material, viewing distance, municipal requirements and budget.

Signs That Provide Visibility
A good sign is often the first impression customers get of your business. We ensure that impression is professional and memorable. Our signs are produced in our own workshop in Sandnes with materials that withstand Norwegian weather, and installed by sign fitters with experience ranging from shop facades to large commercial buildings.
Growth in Rogaland Drives Demand for New Facade Signs
Rogaland had the largest growth in the country in housing construction starts in 2025, an increase of 55.6 percent from 1,981 to 3,083 dwellings, according to Statistics Norway (SSB) building activity figures published in January 2026. New construction creates demand for signs: construction site signs during the build phase and permanent facade signs when commercial premises and shops open. Many new commercial and residential projects in Sandnes, Stavanger and the rest of Rogaland need both construction site signs and facade signs, and we design, produce and install both locally from our workshop in Sandnes.
LED vs. Traditional Signs
LED signs use significantly less power than traditional neon tubes and have a much longer lifespan. LED letters provide even illumination and can be dimmed as needed. We recommend LED for most installations.
All signs include professional installation by our own sign installers. We have lifts and equipment for installation at any height.

How much does a facade sign cost?
The price depends on size, material and lighting. A simple aluminium facade sign starts from approx. NOK 8,000. LED letters from approx. NOK 15,000. Contact us for an accurate quote.
Do I need a building permit for a sign?
Most external signs require a building permit application. We assist with the entire application process and know the requirements in most municipalities in Rogaland.
How long does it take to produce a sign?
Typically 2-4 weeks from approved design to finished installed sign, depending on complexity.
What is the difference between LED letters and lightboxes?
LED letters are individual illuminated characters mounted directly on the facade. Lightboxes are entire panels with backlighting. LED letters give a more exclusive look.
How much does an illuminated sign cost?
LED illuminated signs typically cost NOK 15,000-80,000 depending on size and type. Freestanding LED letters are more expensive than lightboxes.
Do you offer sign maintenance?
Yes, we offer service agreements for sign maintenance, including LED replacement and cleaning.
Does a facade sign need a building permit?
Often yes. Facade signs are usually subject to permit requirements, but the municipality's rules and the sign's size and placement decide in each case. We assess your project and help with the building permit when one is needed.
Does a new commercial property need both construction site signs and facade signs?
Usually yes. Construction site signs provide visibility and information during the build phase, while the facade sign marks the business once the premises open. With the growth in new construction in Rogaland, we often supply both for the same project.
