We've solved the problems you're worried about
Language barrier
Our local team speaks Mandarin and handles all communication with venues, suppliers and authorities. You speak English or Norwegian with your project manager.
Quality control
A Norwegian project manager is on site throughout the build process and approves the stand before the show opens. You receive progress photos during production.
Customs and shipping
We produce locally in China. No customs, no cross-border shipping complexity. Only specialty materials from Europe need customs handling.
Unpredictable costs
You get a fixed price after briefing. No surprises, no extra invoices. We specify everything upfront.
Time zones and communication
Your Norwegian project manager is available during European business hours. We coordinate with the China team so you avoid late-night calls.
Unknown subcontractors
We use our own permanent team, not new subcontractors for every project. Same people, same quality, every time.
Framo at Marintec Shanghai 2025
In December 2025 we built an exhibition stand for Framo at Marintec China in Shanghai. The stand was designed in Sandnes, produced by our local team in Shanghai, and assembled in two days at Shanghai New International Expo Centre. A Norwegian project manager was present throughout the process. The result: dark navy blue walls with an illuminated logo, a physical pump display, digital screens and Scandinavian furniture that matched Framo's European brand standard.

Why exhibit in China?
China is the world's largest exhibition market. Several of the biggest industry trade fairs globally take place in Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. For Norwegian and European companies, presence at Chinese exhibitions is a direct route into the world's largest consumer market and a growing B2B arena.

FAQ: Exhibition Stands in China
Pricing depends on size, design complexity, venue and travel costs. A custom-built stand in Shanghai typically starts from NOK 200,000 and up, depending on scope. We always provide a fixed price after briefing so you know exactly what it costs before committing.
We have a permanent build team in China that handles everything locally: materials, production, transport to the venue, assembly and dismantling. You don't need to ship anything from Europe. Our Norwegian project managers coordinate everything and are present during build-up.
We apply the same design standards as in Norway and have worked with our local Chinese team for several years. A Show Off project manager is always on site during build-up and approves the stand before the show opens. We also share progress photos throughout production.
Yes. Our local team speaks Mandarin and handles all communication with venues, suppliers and authorities. As a client you deal with your Norwegian project manager who translates and coordinates everything.
Since we produce locally in China, we avoid customs and import issues entirely. All materials are sourced and processed in China. The only items shipped are any specialty materials you want from Europe, and we handle the customs paperwork for those.
We recommend a minimum of 8 weeks from initial briefing to show opening. For larger stands (over 100 sqm) you should plan 12 weeks. The earlier you get in touch, the more options we have for securing quality materials and hall placement.
