Formats
Which drawing format do you need?
We print construction drawings and floor plans as individual sheets or complete sets. Choose a format based on the original file, required scale and space needed to read the details. A0 is the largest common A format; larger formats are available by arrangement.

Paper size and drawing scale are separate choices. A drawing prepared at 1:100 on A1 will not retain that scale if reduced to A3. Send a PDF with the correct page size and specify the required scale. If you are unsure, confirm these details with us before production.
Materials
Standard paper, durable material or lamination?
Choose a material for the way the drawings will be used. Paper suits offices and meetings. On site, moisture and frequent handling can make a more durable material a better choice. Lamination adds a protective surface for extra durability.

Tell us whether the drawings will stay in an office, travel to site visits or be used daily on site. We can then confirm a suitable option. Not every set needs the same material.
A clear order helps get the correct drawings to the right recipient. We print floor plans, working drawings, sections, elevations and technical detail drawings supplied by architects and consultants.
- Send PDFs. Export drawings with the correct page size and legible text and linework. If you have DWG or another source format, discuss conversion before sending it for production.
- Specify format and scale. State the final paper size and whether the drawing must print without scaling. Automatic “fit to page” can change the scale.
- Identify the approved revision. Include drawing numbers and revision references in file names. The client must supply the correct approved revision for printing.
- Specify quantities and recipients. List copies per drawing, complete sets and who should receive each set.
- Choose materials and delivery. Include any lamination, your deadline and whether you will collect at Forus or need delivery.
Example order brief: “Two sets of the attached PDFs in A1, without scaling, revision C. Standard paper for the office and one additional set on durable material for the site. Required deadline and delivery address attached.” This illustrates an order brief, not a price quotation.

A single A3 sheet on standard paper and several laminated A0 sets are different orders. We quote for what you need. For recurring deliveries or frequent revisions, include the expected volume and how sets should be distributed so we can consider the requirements together.

Collection & delivery
Collect at Forus or arrange delivery to your project
Our Forus pick-up point is at Luramyrveien 17, 4313 Sandnes, near Stavanger. Arrange collection when ordering. For delivery, provide the office or site address, contact person and any instructions for receiving the drawings.
We deliver to offices and construction sites, including projects elsewhere in Norway. For multiple recipients, send a list of which drawings and sets go to each address. Timing and distribution are confirmed before production.
We also supply construction site signage and print products for meetings and presentations.

Construction drawing printing questions
Can you print construction drawings in A0 and A1?
Yes. Show Off prints A4, A3, A2, A1 and A0, plus larger formats by arrangement. We supply individual sheets and complete sets. Specify the required format and scale.
What is the difference between A0 and A1?
A0 measures 841 × 1189 mm. A1 measures 594 × 841 mm and has about half the area. Choose based on the original file and required scale.
Which file format should I send?
Preferably send PDFs with the correct page size, drawing number and approved revision in the file name. State the scale and quantity. Discuss conversion first if you have DWG or another source format.
Can you print drawings at the correct scale?
Specify the required scale and send PDFs with the correct page size. We confirm the final format and scaling before production. Reducing or fitting a drawing to another paper size can change its scale.
Can the drawings withstand moisture and site use?
We offer more durable materials that withstand moisture and rough handling. Tell us how the drawings will be used so we can confirm the material. Lamination is also available for extra durability.
