Italian Pavilion at ONS 2024: national pavilion for 18 exhibitors

The assignment

Italian Pavilion brought together 18 Italian exhibitors at ONS 2024 in Stavanger. The pavilion had to work as one national presence, while still giving every exhibitor a clear and useful place within the solution.

The goal was to create a stand with a large central shared area, a presentation zone, and strong exhibitor booths around it. It had to feel open, organised, and representative of Italy at one of the most important international meeting places for energy and industry.

The challenge

A national pavilion is more complex than a single company stand. It has to work for many exhibitors at the same time.

The project had to solve several needs:

• 18 exhibitors in the same pavilion
• a clear national profile for Italy
• shared area for visitors and meetings
• presentation zone for talks and speeches
• strong visitor flow through the stand
• construction, logistics, and installation within the ONS rigging schedule

When many companies share one footprint, the design must be clear enough to hold the whole pavilion together, but flexible enough to give each exhibitor their own space.

The result

Italian Pavilion had a clear and representative presence at ONS 2024. The pavilion gathered 18 exhibitors and worked as an arena for presentations, meetings, and visitors.

One of the highlights was that the Italian Prime Minister visited the stand and gave a speech. That places extra demands on expression, flow, order, and execution.
