Signage for Construction

For construction companies, signage goes far beyond a nameplate on the office wall. Construction site signs with project information, developer details, and contact data are a legal requirement at many sites, and a quality sign builds trust with neighbours, the municipality, and potential clients who pass the site every day. HSE signage with access rules, hazard markings, and emergency information must withstand wind, rain, and UV radiation throughout the build period. We produce durable construction site signs from NOK 43,000 ex. VAT for a 2 x 3 m panel, as well as permanent facade signs with LED for contractor offices. Show Off delivers signs that meet Labour Inspection and building regulation requirements, with materials dimensioned for Norwegian conditions.

Construction

Challenges for construction

  • Missing project signage at construction sites means neighbours and passersby do not know who is behind the development
  • Outdated or makeshift HSE signage can result in remarks during Labour Inspection audits
  • Inconsistent signage across different projects weakens the impression of a professional and established contractor
  • Construction site banners that fade and tear after a few months give a neglected impression and lack required information

Industry case: Construction

Construction site signs and facade sign for Rogaland contractor

Challenge

A mid-size contractor with multiple concurrent projects in the Stavanger region lacked consistent project signage. Some sites had makeshift banners, others had no signs at all. The Labour Inspection had noted deficiencies at two inspections.

Solution

We produced standardised construction site signs at 2 x 3 m with project name, developer logo, contact details, and HSE information. Signs were delivered in weather-resistant aluminium with replaceable information fields. We also installed an LED facade sign at the head office.

Result

The contractor passed the next Labour Inspection without remarks. The project signs increased visibility among passersby, and two new contracts were traced back to clients who noticed signs at existing construction sites.

Other industries

We deliver signage to businesses across many industries:

Real Estate

The real estate industry lives on first impressions. Whether it is office buildings, residential developments, or commercial properties, professional signage and decor are key to attracting tenants, buyers, and building a strong brand in the local market.

Hospitality

Restaurants, hotels, and hospitality venues compete for the attention of guests and tourists. Facade signs that draw people in, interior decor that creates ambiance, and event branding that makes experiences memorable are all critical factors for success in the hospitality industry.

Technology

Technology companies in Norway, from startups to established players, need to communicate innovation and expertise visually. Trade show stands at industry expos, office branding that attracts talent, and vehicle wraps on company cars are all important tools for building brand presence in the tech sector.

Healthcare

The healthcare sector has unique needs for signage and visual communication. Patient guidance through wayfinding signs, vehicle branding for home care vehicles, and privacy film on glass walls are all solutions that contribute to safety, trust, and a professional healthcare environment.

Transport & Logistics

The transport and logistics industry depends on a visible and consistent fleet identity. With vehicles on the road every day across the country, fleet wrapping is the most cost-effective form of advertising. Consistent branding across trucks, vans, and trailers creates professionalism and trust.

Public Sector

Public sector organisations such as municipalities, county authorities, and government agencies need clear and accessible visual communication. Wayfinding in public buildings, project signage at developments, and materials for public events require durable, professional solutions that reach all citizens.

Events & Festivals

The events and festivals industry is characterised by tight deadlines, large formats, and the need for visual impact. From stage backdrops and banners to exhibition stands and promotional items, organisers need solutions that create atmosphere, are quick to install, and can withstand weather in both indoor and outdoor settings.
